Abstract
This research was carried out in five schools in Kisomoro sub-county Kabarole district purposely to find out the challenges facing the implementation of Universal Primary Education in this area. Chapter one contains the introduction. Statement of the problem, significance of the study and study objectives. In chapter two related literature was collected and was categorised as follows; introduction. Challenges affecting the implementation of Universal Primary Education. Five schools wcr•2 used and data was collected usmg methodology shown in the following subtopics; Study site and location, Study design, Sampling techniques / Methods of sampling. Study instruments, Data collection procedure. Chapter four concerns presentation of results in the following order; Information from head teachers. Information from teachers. Information from the school management committee. Information from pupils. Chapter five is discussion of results under the following headings, socio demographic data. age range . Information from head teachers. Information from teachers, information from the School Management Committee. Information from the pupils, conclusion and recommendations.
