Abstract
This research paper examines the effectiveness of the Uganda Human Rights Commission in
the protection and promotion of Human Rights in Uganda, challenge of the commission and
other human right defenders, the enforcement of the law on Human Rights and sets out some
recommendations to the findings of the study.
