Abstract
The research is all about the role of M.F.I. s in promoting economic growth among entrepreneurs in Vihiga district (Kenya) the introductory chapter introduces the role of M.F.I.s in influencing borrowing, shaping the attitude of entrepreneurs and the M.F.I. intervention activities. The second chapter deals with the review of literature on borrowing from M.F.I.s, the attitude shapers towards M.F.I and the literature on M.F.I intervention. The researcher used published books, journals, newspapers, the internet and personal communication to review literature Chapter three zeros in on the research methodology and design employed by the research. The researcher used S.R.S to sample and employed questionnaires and personal communication to collect data besides personal interviews. The researcher used simple encoding of data, qualitative and or descriptive methods to present the results. Chapter four is all about findings, data analysis and presentation of results. The research presents findings in simple descriptive or qualitative terms for ease of perusal. Tables and figures have been presented in a simple manner. Chapter five concentrates on conclusion, summary of key findings and recommendations that also capture areas for future possible research.
