Abstract: The study was conducted in Kaliro town council Kaliro District. The main purpose of the study was to examine the attitudes of parents towards girl-child education, determine the barriers and establish strategies to promote girl-child education. The study was conducted using the following questions; What is the attitude of the parent towards the girl child education?, What are the barriers to promoting girl child education and What strategies could be adopted to promote the girl child's education?. The study instrument were both closed and open-ended Questionnaires. The study concludes that parents have a positive attitude towards girl-child education, parents have a great role of promoting girl-child education and it concluded that it is a responsibility of all education stakeholders to jointly promote girl-child education.
