| dc.description.abstract | The researcher report is about the Effect of hearing impairment on the academic performance of learners with specific learning difficulties in mathematics in Kiptoim zone of Koibatek District. The statement of the problem was identifying major problems facing learners with hearing impairment and the solutions to these problems. The content of this report consists of five chapters. Chapter one details out the background information of the research environment, purpose of the study, statement of the problem, objectives of the study, research questions and significance of the study. Chapter two is all about review of related literature whose contents include; causes of hearing impairment and specific learning difficulties in various areas, indicators of hearing impairment on learners with specific learning difficulties in mathematics, problems and solutions of learners with hearing impairments and others. Chapter three describes the research methodology. The research methodology areas of concern are research designs, research environment, respondents, sampling methods and others. Chapter four reports research findings after the analysis. It specifies what the respondents gave out on the topic. Finally, Chapter five, which is the last, details out the discussions, conclusions and recommendations under below subtopics; discussions, conclusions and recommendations. | en_US |
