| dc.description.abstract | The study was aimed at the impact of supplier base optimization to the performance of an organization, at Terrain Construction Company in Seguku Entebbe road and it was where 45 respondents were randomly selected with expected sample size of 40 respondents. The study was guided by four objectives that is to say; to examine impact of supplier base optimization to the performance of an organization. To investigate the best approaches to supplier base optimization, ‘to find out the benefits, setbacks and solutions to the setbacks to supplier base optimization, and To find out how to measure performance in an organization, Descriptive study was chosen for this study since it will enable the researcher to involve both qualitative and quantitative techniques of data analysis. The data was collected by the use of questionnaires administered through the drop-and pick method, and analysis of the data collected was done using tables and SPSS. The results of the data collected indicate that there is a relationship between supplier base rationalization and performance of organizations in Uganda and thus this therefore calls for application of the best approaches of SB() as it impacts in the performance of the organization. was from findings that the researcher concluded that supplier base optimization greatly impacts )n organizational performance. measurement of performance contributes to organization )performance, also there are benefits of SEQ. setbacks and solutions to setbacks of supplier base optimization and finally there approaches to Supplier Base Optimization that can he used by organization in order to get the best out of S 130. | en_US |
