dc.description.abstractThe study was guided by the following research objectives; the first objective was to determine the profile of the respondents in terms of: age, gender, highest educational qualification, and rank in the university, position in the university and number of years in present position and the second and third objective was to determine the level of ethical leadership and the level of conflict resolution techniques of the academic administrators and the fourth objective was the relationship between Ethical Leadership and Conflict Resolution Techniques of the academic administrators in selected private universities in Mogadishu, Somalia. The study was conducted through descriptive survey and correlation research design by using quantitative approach with two parts questionnaire and 114 respondents was selected from selected private universities in Mogadishu Somalia. The study utilized descriptive statistics, frequencies and percentage; tables were used in the presentation of data. And also Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient was applied to test correlation between Ethical leadership and Conflict Resolution Techniques. The researcher found that the Ethical Leadership and Conflict Resolution Techniques of the academic administrators in selected private universities in Mogadishu Somalia are significantly correlated. Regarding the level of Ethical Leadership was very good and the level of Conflict Resolution Techniques was good with methods applied as indicated the means and standard deviations. The researcher recommended that the private universities should maintain frankness, loyalty and truthfulness whenever they deal with the subordinates or followers. And also Academic administrators should use the best possible technique of conflict resolution as the result of the study.en_US
