Abstract
The study was confined on Logistics Contribution and Service Delivery to Sections and Partners of The United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) Eastern Goma Province. The study was guided by the following objectives:-Determine the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of: gender, age, educational qualification post/position in the organization and length of experience in procurement and supply activities ;to determine the extent of Logistics Contribution to Sections and Partners of The United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) Eastern Goma Province in terms of the expectations, satisfaction and service delivery of its customers; to determine the extent of Service Delivery to Sections and Partners of The United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) Eastern Goma Province in terms of the expectations, satisfaction and service delivery of its customers; and to examine, whether there is a significance relationship in Logistics Contribution and Service Delivery to Sections and Partners of The United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) Eastern Goma Province in terms of the expectations, satisfaction and service delivery of its customers. The main instruments for data collection were basically questionnaires but also face-to-face interviews were conducted using an interview guide. Data collected using questionnaires and a structured interview guide was analyzed using frequency counts in form of percentages and was later tabulated to determine the relationship between variables. The target population was 300 of which a total of 150 respondents were selected. The research was principally descriptive involving both qualitative and quantitative techniques of data analysis. Various data analyses procedures were applied: descriptive analyses, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, single regression and multiple regression analyses in order to achieve the objectives of the study. The findings reveal that there is a significant correlation between Logistics Contribution and Service Delivery to Sections and Partners of the United Nations Stabilization Mission. The researcher recommended, listen to your customers, deal with complaints, be helpful, process quality assessment, public grievance redress, don’t make promises unless you will keep them, train your staff to be always helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable; and Take the extra step; for instance. The researcher concludes that the levels of logistic contribution and service delivery were both generally high at the sections. Once the above aspects V are attended to, Service Delivery to Sections and Partners of The United Nations Stabilization Mission is a very useful vice in Logistics Contribution.
