dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to explain the teachers class room management strategies on the student’s ~mic achievements in secondary schools of Bukwo district. Descriptive survey research design was to undertake the study. The participants of the study were 240 students and 72 teachers which were ted by stratified random sampling, whereas 12 principals and six supervisors where selected by ability sampling technique. data were collected by using questionnaires, interviews and documents. The quantitative data analysis analyzed by using percentage, frequency, average mean, standard deviation and one way in ANOVA The quantitative data were analyzed in words. The finding of the study revealed that teachers lacks of class room management, absence of adequate and continuous training for teachers and principals on room management affected student’s academic achievements. overcome this challenges the solutions identified were: prepare short term training program for teachers,ground rule, good student’s motivation and strengthen the team work in the secondary schools bukwo district. Thus concluded that due concern was not given to the teachers class room management strategies on academic achievement in this study. Finally it was recommended that the inspectors of schools should a condition on which trained principals in school administration that will empower teachers to use class room management strategies in their teaching learning process to improve student’s academicachievements.. | en_US |
