The purpose of the study was to examine the hindrances to access of HIV/AIDS services among adolescents of Kampala District. The study had four objectives, which included; i) identifying the profile of respondents in terms of gender, age, and class ii) to examine the level of hindrances of HIV services among teenagers living with HIV/AIDS; iii) to examine the level of access of HIV/AIDS services among teenagers living with HIV and iv) to determine the relationship between hindrances and access of HIV/AIDS services among adolescents. The researcher employed descriptive correlation survey design and the researcher employed self administered questionnaire to collect data on hindrances of I-HIV/AIDS services adolescents. The findings indicated that most respondents (73.8%) were females adolescent aged between 16-19 years, majorities were in S.2 and S.4. The level of hindrance was generally with average mean (2.235) which indicated that most of respondents strongly disagreed. The level of access was with average mean of (2.03) This indicate that there is a significant relationship that exist between hindrances and access of HIV/Aids services among adolescents is in significantly correlated, (all sig. <0.05). This means that adolescents were hindered of access to I-HIV/AIDS services at r=0.760. Basing on these results. the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative was accepted. The more the government has tried to eliminate the barriers, adolescents will be able to go for voluntary counseling and testing, able to disclose their status and get rid of stigma. From the findings and the conclusions of the study, the researcher recommends there is a need for the government to continue providing ARVS to people who can’t afford so that they don’t miss them. There is a need to sensitize the community not to prevent adolescents to access HIV/AIDS services by their peers because of fear of what they might think about them. There should be a provision of transport from homes to hospital in order to avoid miss of appointments with doctors due to lack of money. The government should build nearby health centers where the adolescents can easily go for their appointments for a positive living. Since AIDS is a war that no one wants to loose hut no one yet knows how to win.en_US
