dc.description.abstractThis study was aimed at establishing the impact of Parents Teachers Associations on provision of quality education in secondary schools in Kabale district. The study had four objectives: To establish the reasons why PTAs were introduced; to find out the roles and functions of PTAs; To investigate the impact of PTAs in provision of quality education in secondary schools; To seek ways and means of improving and strengthening parents’ involvement in provision of quality education in secondary schools in Kabale district. A total of 396 respondents who were purposively and randomly selected were used in the study. They included head teachers, teachers, PTA representatives, parents, students and members from the directorate of education in Kabale district.en_US
