Abstract
The researcher wishes to acknowledge God almighty for provision of wisdom and capabilities to make this work possible, for without Him nothing is possible. The researcher is also indebted and thanks the Kampala International University (KIU) management for the guidance and support during training and completion of this thesis. This also goes to the management of Sanofi Kenya Ltd the employers for supporting the completion of these studies. The researcher also acknowledges the Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC)-College of Higher Degrees and Research (CHDR) Dr. Novembrieta R. Sumil for her support especially in the choice of the research topic that was relevant to my studies. The researcher is honoured to the supervisor Dr. Manuel Sumil, as he has been behind the success in this thesis. He has been tirelessly supportive even in times when he had so many students to give counsel to; he remained available to consult at all times. Thank you Dr. Sumil. The researcher also thanks the viva panel members during the defence of this thesis, for their advice and corrections.
