Abstract
The study was carried out on the influence of corruption and decision making in lower local government. A case study of Kashari County Mbarara District. It was guided by establishing how corruption influences decision making, the challenges faced by the public in fighting corruption and strategies that can be used to reduce corruption in lower local government. Cross sectional research design was used in the study and employed both qualitative and quantitative paradigms which involved a holistic approach of the study variables.
