dc.description.abstractThe study investigated the relationship between counseling services and control of HIV AIDS in the UPDF. A case study of Bomba army Barracks in Luwero district. The main purpose of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of counseling services in the army, specifically the UPDF. The study employed descriptive survey research design method where both qualitative and quantitative research techniques were applied to identify the relationship between counseling services and control of HIV AIDS in the UPDF. The researcher collected data from stakeholders in the UPDF using questionnaires, data was coded, sorted and punched in excels spread sheets for analysis and interpretation. The researcher found out that counseling services are part and parcel in the control of HIV AIDS in the UPDF. They help to sensitize the army on different ways of controlling HIV.en_US
