Abstract
The study focused on the effect of motivation on the performance of the teaching staff of Kakungululu Memorial School.
The study tried to establish the relationship between motivation and performance.
The study used both primary and secondary sources to gather information.
The primary source were mainly the questionnaires, and the secondary sources was library work and established records to enhance the raw data collected.
The purpose of the study was to examine the effect f various dissatisfactions that is; Salary paid, conditions for effective teaching, and interpersonal relations on performance of teachers in Kakugulu Memorial School
The researcher used a descriptive research method to determine the level of motivation and performance of teachers in Kakungulu Memorial Schoool
Findings indicate that working conditions had a significant effect on the performance of the teaching staff of Kakungulu Memorial School. Salary received also has a significant effect on the performance of the teaching staff. Findings further indicates that respondents are not happy with the meager
Salaries and the limited allowances in the school and they appealed for an increment.
