The topic of the study was Population growth rate. Literacy level and Unemployment rate in Uganda (1990—2016). This study aimed at identifying and analyzing the significant relationship between and effect of population growth rate and literacy level on Unemployment rate in Uganda. The objectives of the study were to; determine whether there is a significant relationship between population growth rate and unemployment rate in Uganda (1990 — 2016), identify whether there is a signification relationship between literacy level and unemployment rate in Uganda (1990 — 2016), establish whether there is a significant relationship between population growth and literacy level in Uganda(1990—2016). The study adopted a descriptive research design techniques since the study was interested in establishing the relationship between population growth rate, literacy level and unemployment rate in Uganda. The study undertook a detailed analysis of population growth rate, literacy level and unemployment rate in Uganda, which largely suit a quantitative research approach, time series analysis and regression analysis. The study findings noted that there was a weak positive relationship between population growth rate and unemployment rate in Uganda indicated by the value of regression correlation coefficient r 0.3 126. there was a moderate positive relationship between literacy level and unemployment rate in Uganda indicated by the value of regression correlation coefficient r 0.567 1, there was a very weak positive relationship between population growth and literacy level indicated by the value of regression correlation coefficient r 0.1574. Therefore, with the regression analysis between population growth rate literacy level and unemployment rate, it is evident that population growth and literacy level explain the variation in the variation in the Unemployment rate by only 37.27% where the 62.73% is explained by other variables that affect the rate of Unemployment.en_US
