Abstract
This study investigated donor funding and financial sustainability of community service projects of Anglican Church of Kenya All Saints’ Cathedral Diocese. Chapter one is comprised of the background to the
study, statement of the problem, purpose of the study, research objectives and questions, scope of the study, significance of the study and operational definitions of key terms. Chapter two includes concepts, ideas,
opinions from experts! authors; theoretical perspective and related studies. Chapter three gives the research design, research population, sample size, sample procedures, research instruments, data gathering procedures, data analysis, ethical considerations and limitations of the study. Chapter four gives the presentation, analysis and interpretation of data. Chapter five gives the summary, conclusion and recommendations from the findings of the study. In summary the study established that there was a relationship between the financial systems and financial sustainability of social service delivery projects of ACK All Saints’ Cathedral diocese, the financial sustainability of community service projects of ACK All Saints’ Cathedral diocese is affected by the nature and the quality of products and services they offer and that the level of financial sustainability of ACK All Saints’ Cathedral diocese was satisfactory. The conclusion was that ACK All Saints’ Cathedral Community service
projects had mechanisms for continued financial sustainability even when the donors withdrew their support. Key recommendations arising from the study were that professionals be employed to manage community service projects of ACK All Saints’ Cathedral Diocese and that feasibility studies should be carried out prior to embarking on any projects at the diocese.
