The conclusions of the study therefore, is that head teachers were facing serious challenges in the management of curriculum implementation, physical facilities and material resources, teaching staff personnel and students discipline. The recommendations are that government should help to mitigate by releasing all the funds for free secondary education, very early at the beginning of the year, and help to provide the facilities such as laboratories and equipment, libraries etc, put in place regular in-service training programmes for head teachers and teachers as well as other support staff. Board of governors and PTA should combine effort with head teachers to deal with indescriptive vices in the schools.
