dc.description.abstractThe researcher carried out this study to investigate the causes of problems with learners with specific learning difficulties in mathematics. The researcher strategy or design was the survey design. The target population was the 200 teachers and 3200 pupils. A sample size of 21 teachers and 20 pupils were selected and sampling procedure used was random sampling. The researcher used questionnaires as the instrument of the study. The researcher found out that very few learners have negative attitudes towards Mathematics facts. The teacher uses teaching aids and also appropriate teaching methods when teaching/learning aids are improvised and others bought. The teacher covers syllabus in the classes they teach in time and they embark on revision.en_US
