dc.description.abstract | The purpose of study was to investigate the impact of tourism activities on the Environment in Coast Province Kenya. The objectives of the study were to identify the tourism activities in Coast Province, to identify the impacts of tourism on the Environment, to further identify the contribution of stake holders on the protection and conservation of wildlife, to recommend possible ways on how tourism development can be sustainable way and hence less effects on the Environment. The method used in data collection was questionnaires, interviews. Observations and discussions. According to the data collected, findings indicated that there are still deforestation activities in the tourist attractions. The study made some recommendations on how to deal with deforestation. The government through the ministry of Education should make it a compulsory subject, conservation of the Environment, so that everyone from the small to the old, know the importance of conservation of the Environment. | en_US |
