Abstract
The study is set to investigate the management of Local Government Revenue and service delivery in Kayunga District Local Government. Specifically, the study sought to analyze the impact of revenue assessment, collection and planning and budgeting and their effect on service delivery in Kayunga District Local Government. A descriptive research design is adopted in this study. A sample of 80 respondents was selected from study population of 100 persons. This was selected using simple random and census sampling techniques. Data is to be collected using self-administered questionnaires and face to face interviews. After collecting data, it will be edited and coded and thereafter, analyzed and interpreted using the information provided from the tables in form of frequencies and percentages. The study thereafter will recommend the cost-effective mechanisms in revenue enhancement and mobilization to reduce administrative costs, educate and create awareness on the masses on the newly introduced revenue, creation of local revenue task force at all levels, privatization of local revenue collection.
