| dc.description.abstract | The project will focus on the design and development of a data solution, case study: Yuasa Car Depot The design and development is to come up with database system that is to be used for easy storage and retrieval of data by changing from a manual system and less computerized to a better computerized system. The database will be developed after carrying out a careful structure analysis of the old system.. whereby the company is using a system for storing and retrieving data which more costly in terms of space, time it took to get the needed information can not gain a competitive advantage of its competitors. The database will be implemented using Microsoft Access and documented using Microsoft word. The database system has a lot of promising improvement to manual system in that there will be reliable information which is updated~ quick retrieval and easy storage of data. In conclusion the new system is more efficient than the old system and can be used as a competitive advantage over its competitors. | en_US |
