Abstract
The pui~ose of this research is sensitize judicial officers, policy makers, investors and
stake holders in administration of justice in general, of incidences occurring in Nabru
Law Court likely to impact negatively in paralegal service provision. The specific
objective however was to investigate the nature of incidences. That is from the
perspective~ of previous work documenting the same and whether there is continuity or
adoption to circumvent administrative measures put in place. Also important is to identify
the forms in which they are presented at the station. Opportunity aspect which is
presented as the enabling environment is given more consideration to draw more
attention to policy makers who should take remedial measures in terms of court
administration,
An ex post facto research design was adopted for the study. The study employed both
descriptive analysis (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson
correlation) to analyze the data. Simple random and stratified sampling techniques were
used to select a sample size from the target population with the use of questionnaires,
Both Primary and secondary data were collated.
The study established that indeed not much has changed from the radical surgery 2003.
wherea~ the success or none of it, attained through Ringera Committee 2003, this study
independently established those incidences that thrive at the station level without
necessarily disclosing the prime actors nor recommending punitive sanctions against such
individuals.
