Abstract
The study investigated the relationship between logistics management and the organizational efficiency in selected manufacturing companies in Somalia, Mogadishu. The study was based on three research objectives which included 1, to determine the role of packaging on organizational efficiency in selected manufacturing organizations, 2, to establish the effect of warehousing and transportation on organizational efficiency in selected manufacturing organizations in Mogadishu and 3,to determine the relationship between logistics management and organizational efficiency in selected manufacturing organizations in Mogadishu. The study adopted a descriptive correlation quantitative design involving use of SPSS to derive means standard deviation and t- statistics. The study population was 160 with the target sample population of 114 people who were selected from the manufacturing firms of Afi mineral water, Kabaqori furniture co and Somali tango Company in Mogadishu, The findings revealed that with there is a significant relationship between packaging and organizational efficiency in selected manufacturing firms in Mogadishu, Somalia. It is therefore recommended that there is need to improve logistics management in order to promote organizational efficiency.
