Abstract
The purpose to study this research dissertation was to find out the effects of financial management and performance of microfinance institutions in Juba County-Central Equatoria State Republic of South Sudan. The first objective was to identify the financial interaction between microfinance organizations and their own potential customers in juba. The second objective was to find out the challenges face by microfinance institutions regarding the credit provisions in Juba County. Then third objective was to identify the effects of financial management and performance of the staffs in microfinance institutions in Juba. The plan of the case study was allocated to public financial institutions and microfinance institutions in Juba County-Central Equatoria State Republic of South Sudan. The target population was l000 and the sample size of 100 people for this study. The research found out the fact that, a financial record in public sector is very weak but in private sector, record was essentially performance. The study reveals the fact that, microfinance is now being considered as one of the most important goal and an effective mechanism for poverty alleviation in Republic of South Sudan especially in Juba County. This is also an effective mechanism through which to disseminate the precious information on the ways to improve the health standard, educational level, legal rights to sustain, sanitation and other living life standard. The findings reveal that, all the programs addresses to micro-credit have programmed to target the vulnerable groups in the country such as people who have low income or no income at all. The researcher has recommended that expanded the microfinance institutions program in the country, significant y will improve the vulnerable groups ' food security, self-sufficiency, self-confidence and performance status within household survival
