Abstract
The research was carried out to find out the effect of Human Immunodeficiency virus/AIDS on regular primary schools children in Murinduko Location, Mwea Division - Kirinyaga District. Purposive sampling was used where the researcher interviewed 20 pupils and 20 teachers in regular primary schools. The researcher found out that • There are enough resource materials on HIV/AIDS. • Many teachers and learners do not know their sero status • Many people are not willing to disclose their HIV/AIDS positive status. • There are HIV/AIDS Educational programes in all school • Learners and teachers have a positive attitude towards people living with HIV/AIDS.
