| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of education on economic growth in Hoima District Kitoba Sub-County. The specific goals can be stated as follows: To analyze trends in the development of knowledge and economic growth in Hoima District Kitoba Sub-County to econometrically analyses the relationship between education and economic growth in Hoima District Kitoba Sub-County to present policy implications of the empirical findings The study used a sample size of 108 respondents. The study found out that Educational quality directly affects individual earnings where most attention paid to the value of schooling focuses on the economic returns to different levels of school attainment for individuals, Gifls in Exchange for Investment in secondary education provides a clear boost to economic development, much more than can be achieved by universal primary education alone and this accounts for Since the beginning of the twentieth century onward, education, schooling, science, technology, knowledge and training have become important elements as regards the productivity of individuals and It is clear that a limited number of educated people may affect the economic growth negatively One of the main indicators that education plays an important role on the economic growth is that developed countries with high economic growth have good human capital with higher standards of schooling strategies, Individuals tend to continue their higher education because they think that they can find better jobs and earn more as compared to other individuals with average schooling. The study concluded that Professional learning in online environments and through social networking holds promise, although evidence on these modes from both research and practice is limited. The study also recommended that the government through Hoima district should establish public technical schools where students are trained from. NGOS like world vision, UN organizations should come in to improve the life standards of the people of Kitoba Sub County hence growth and development. Hoima District must do all it can to establish a solid common ground and cooperation, as individually the Kitoba Sub-County is too weak either in population or purchasing power.
