dc.description.abstractThe study establishes the relationship between Logistics support and achievements of Concern Worldwide programs in Katanga province, Democratic Republic of Congo. The study was guided by the following objectives:- To determine the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of: gender, age, educational qualification and length of experience in procurement and supply activities; to determine the level of Logistic support in Concern Worldwide programs in terms of;-communication, production and operations, transportation and vehicle routing, warehouse management and distribution strategies, inventory management, product design, and material handling and order picking; to determine the level of achievement in Concern Worldwide programs in terms of;- transparency, quality, efficiency, actual peiformances, strategies and competitiveness; to determine if there is a significant relationship between the level of logistics support and the level of achievement in Concern Worldwide program. The main instruments for data collection were basically questionnaires but also face-to-face interviews were conducted using an interview guide. The target population was 135 of which a total of 101 respondents were selected. The research was principally descriptive involving both qualitative and quantitative techniques of data analysis. Various data analyses procedures were applied: descriptive analyses, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, single regression and multiple regression analyses in order to achieve the objectives of the study. Data collected using questionnaires and a structured interview guide was analyzed using frequency counts in form of percentages and was later tabulated to determine the relationship between variables. The findings reveal that there is a significant correlation between Logistics support and achievements of concern worldwide programs in Katanga province. Once the above aspects are attended to, the Logistics support is very useful vice in achievements of Concern worldwide programs.en_US
