Abstract
This study was about ICT usage and students’ academic achievement in Physics in Luzira
Nakawa Division Kampala District Uganda, which was in line of determining the level of ICT
usage and its impact on to student’s academic achievement in Physics in LuziraNakawa Division
Kampala District Uganda.
In this study, different sources of information were used that is to say, other scholars, journals,
magazines, periodical articles other research studies and website.
One of the three methods of collecting primary data was survey. The information was gathered
from students and teachers by responding the questionnaires as the data collection instrument.
The study found out that there should be quick installation of ICT facilities and staff for higher
levels of student’s academic achievement in Physics.
The suggested recommendations were, installation of adequate ICT facilities and staff, close
monitoring of students, training teachers ICT skill when they are still in universities, and strong
rules and regulations towards ICT usage by both teachers and students.
