Abstract
This study was set out to establish the extent to which the Development program and Employees’ Performance of Dahabshil bank branches in Mogadishu-Somalia~ The study was guided by the following objectives:-To determine the demographic characteristics of the respondents as to age, gender, educational qualifications, present position and number of years in present position, to determine the extent of development program of employees/respondents under study, to determine the level of employee performance of employees/respondents under study, to established if there is a significant relationship between the extent of development program and the level of employee performance of the respondent.The study was conducted through descriptive survey and correlation research design, quantitative approach with a questionnaire a target population of 134 and sample size for 100 respondents from Dahabshil bank branches in Mogadishu-Somalia~ The researcher found that the Development Program and Employee performance of Dahabshil banks are significant correlated~ The study therefore recommends that Managers should always find ways and means of creating and availing development program means which at least suit the greater number of employees to enable them perform work to the expectation standard.Dahabshil bank should use developmental programs to retain the employees because employees feel valuable and get job satisfaction, which increases their productivity and that will increase the overall performance of the in generally.
