dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the study was to investigate the extent to which team-teaching is b<-:'ing organized and applied in the teaching and learning of social studies and establ how it affects performance in primary schools in Bugiri. The study is guided by the following objectives: to find out how team-teaching is organized and applied in the teaching process or social studies. to find out whether social studiesĀ· teachers effectively apply team-teaching as a method or instruction and to establish ways through which team-teaching can be enhanced 111 primary schools. It was conducted under the following research questions: how is team-teaching as a method of instruction applied in the teaching and learning process of soci,li studies? He)\\ effective is team teaching in modern learning and teaching of social studies and i11 what ways can team teaching be enhanced in Bugiri. A mixed method in which both qua11tit1ti\ c ~rnd qualilati\ L' approaches were employed to correct data. The study found out that.
