| dc.description.abstract | The research sought to examine the effect of inventory management on the quality of medical services of Kiboga Hospital and Bukomero Health Center which was guided by research objectives of assessing the inventory management practices used by Kiboga Hospital and Bukornero Health Centre; ascertainment of the quality of medical services in Kiboga Hospital and Bukomero Health Centre; and establishment of the relationship between inventory management and quality medical services. A cross sectional survey design was employed across the health centres of Kiboga Hospital and Bukomero Health Centre, and sample size of 10 respondents was used. Data was collected by the researcher using questionnaire, interviews, and document analysis techniques. The data was presented in frequency tables and findings interpreted in percentages. The research found that savings and cost reductions can be achieved by implementing advanced inventory management systems. It can be concluded that inventory is put into practice and should be considered in order for the hospitals to deliver quality services to the community scoring almost 90% of the total respondents. | en_US |
