dc.description.abstract | The research is designed to collect data on the effectiveness of the laws protecting children's rights in Uganda undertaking inventions and policies for actually addressing children. The research found out that at least 25,000,000 children were abducted and recruited in the LRA, mainly well-coordinated mission and chains of collaborators who raided villages and internally peoples' displaced camps (IDPS) child abduction, child abduction does not only occur in war zones but also takes place in none war zone areas such as Karamoja, Kitgum among others. It is repmied that many abductees are forced to hazardous activities including can·ying heavy luggage, ammunitions among others were used to tmiure, kill and do heinous missions, other abducted were traded for guns and used as self-slaves, there are instances where steps have been taken in proposed law reform and training, victims suppmi, sustained media companies, poverty eradication and education to mention but a few. | en_US |
