dc.description.abstractThis study was about the effect of alcoholism and performance of youth in Kaberamaido District. The study was guided by the following objectives; To examine the effect of drug taking on the discipline of the youth in Lira Municipality, to assess the extent to which drunkardness affect the discipline of the youth in Kaberamaido District, to examine the effects of clubbing on the discipline of the youth in Kaberamaido, to assess the extent to which government policy affect the discipline of the youth in Kaberamaido. Data was collected coded and analyzed using statistical tools. Findings indicated that majority of the respondents agreed that alcoholism in a family leads to familial dysfunctional. It also indicated that most of the respondents agreed that clubbing has become an indispensable element of life for most people in the contemporary world.en_US
