dc.description.abstractThe study set was to examine the effect of foreign military involvement on peace building in Somalia. The study adopted a cross sectional research design were data was attained based on a quantitative research design from 204 respondents who were from the selected groups of the government, International NGOs, local leaders and foreign intervention forces. Results presented in form of descriptive and inferential statistics the information for the study. The findings reveal that counter insurgency have a significant effect on counter insurgency of foreign military involvement on peace building in Somalia. Secondly foreign military training have a significant effect on counter insurgency of foreign military training on peace building in Somalia. Finally foreign military protection and stability have a significant effect on foreign military protection and stability on peace building in Somalia. Findings conclude that counter of insurgency of foreign military significantly affect the peace building in Somalia. Secondly, the study concludes that foreign military training for the armies if improved can generate peace building in Somalia. Thirdly, the study concludes that foreign military protection is a key avenue for the generation of the stable peace building efforts. Researcher recommends for the enhancement in development of foreign counter measures to counter the occurrence of terrorism activities which still occur in many places especially of Mogadishu. Secondly there is need for the development of the avenues needed especially in making the local forces by the foreign one sustaining amongst them. Thirdly the study recommend for the protection provided by the foreign forces needed to be developed among the people.en_US
