dc.description.abstractThis study on “personal knowledge of mobile banking system and trust of mobile banking transactions of small business owners in Borama, Somaliland” was conducted with the purpose of the highlighting the role of personal knowledge of mobile of mobile banking system on the trust of mobile banking transactions. The researcher had intention of responding to Four questions: What was the profile of the respondents in terms gender, age, qualification and work experience? What was extent of personal knowledge of mobile banking system of small business owners? What was the level of trust of mobile banking transactions of small business owners? Was there a significant relationship between personal knowledge of mobile banking system and trust of mobile banking transactions of small business owners? A sample of 109 small business owners were selected, respondents were selected from a target population of 150 small business owners by used Slovene’s formula; the researcher utilized to select the respondents was first stratified random sampling; the researcher divided the respondents to their respective categories like the services based and goods based enterprises then used simple random sampling to select respondents from each category, the instrument employed in this study was questionnaire. SPSS was used to analyze all data. The researcher discovered that, the extent of personal knowledge of mobile banking system of small business owners in Borama was high, the level of trust of mobile banking transactions of small business owners in Borama was also high, there was positive significance relationship between the extent of personal knowledge of mobile banking system and the level of trust of mobile banking transactions and the null hypothesis was rejected and alternative hypothesis was taken, it was concluded that there was a positive significance relationship between the extent of personal knowledge of mobile banking system and the level of trust of mobile banking transactions of small business owners in Boramaen_US
