The research was carried out on the attitude of teachers towards the inclusion of learners with hearing impairment in regular primary schools, This was because the feelings of most regular primary school teachers that these learners affect and lower the academic performance of their schools. Therefore these learners are forced to repeat classes or dropout of school. It is due to this that the learners with hearing impairment do not perform well in regular schools. The researcher used the quantitative approach to collect the data. The questionnaire was used to collect the data and later on the data was tabulated. The data was out into percentages and analyzed. Out of the 45 teachers sampled only those who have attended special training feel that the learners should learn along with the others who do not have hearing problems. Teachers should make necessary modifications in their teaching methods to accommodate the learners with hearing impairment. The ministry should avail appropriate learning resources to regular schools. Teachers lack appropriate resources required to assist these learners. The teachers lack skills to teach these learners with special needs so they develop negative attitude and feel that they should be placed in special schools rather than in regular schools.en_US
