dc.description.abstractThe research was conducted to investigate he caching methods and academic performance of visually impaired learners. The main method and challenges were put forward. The researcher came up with research objectives as ci ques ions to get the data from the field. The sample size comprised of twenty respondents from Langata Division. The population sample as tested teachers and pupil ‘s from the division. Secondary materials from libraries, Internet and research findings were also sed. The outcomes were analyzed summarized, percentages, frequencies, graphs and graphs and charts. From the research findings that there are teaching methods that have been have been put in place for learners, some schools have teachers who had gone to Special education teaching course and learners with learning difficulties are catered for in the division. However, there are many challenges like information on VI learners to the parents, finance, acceptability, political interferes and transport. Guided by research findings KISE need collaborative effort in order to enhance education provision. The government should support KISE by providing and assisting the functions and enlighten the community about the support to education in Langata Division. The community should be sensitized on the efficiency and sustainability of education provision.en_US
