dc.description.abstractEducation is a fundamental human right as well as a catalyst for economic growth and human development. Therefore this study was undertaken to show the impact of teaching aids on academic performance in English. Teaching aids reinforce learning through motivation, stimulation, and attesting learner's attention during the instructional process. The study adopted a descriptive survey design in an attempt to show the impact of teaching aids on academic performance in English in Rongo division, Rongo County. The study utilized questionnaires and interviews as research instruments. The target population comprises of five schools within the location that were randomly selected out of the twenty four (24) schools. The students were of use together with the teachers. The researcher analyzed data using statistics. All the data obtained, was tabulated, evaluated and arranged in themes. The research findings benefited all the stakeholders and policy makers in the field of education such as students, teachers, education officials and parents.en_US
