Abstract
The study Analyzed the performance of girls in UCE in the study district. Assessed the availability of resources in enhancing the effective teaching of science subjects in the selected schools. Assessed the suitability of the teaching methods employed by the science teachers in enhancing effective teaching of the subjects. Assessed the attitude of science teachers towards girls in solving persistent problem of poor performance of girls in science subjects at UCE and therefore enable woman to gain entry into the professions considered preserved for men.
