The study sought to examine the impact of inclusive education on children with hearing impairment. Inclusive education is provision of education for all in schools. It came as a policy after many conventions and declarations. Research instruments used were questionnaires and arm chair traveling document method. Subjects involved in the study were the DEO, headteachers, teachers and parents. The findings indicate that inclusive education has not sunk deeply in our education system and a number of professionals still find difficulty implementing it and yet there are formulated policies in place. For inclusive education to succeed, government should re-kindle vigorous campaigns and sensitizations alongside training more teachers in special needs education. This will beat down conservatives who think special schools are the only places where children with hearing impairment can learn. Inclusive schools aim at maximizing and increasing the participation of all learners. This involves examining teaching, learning practices and the environment. It also calls for adjustments in teaching approaches, learning practices and the environment so that learners with hearing impairment can also benefit. Inclusive education has its benefits to both learners with special needs and other members of society but generally it creates an inclusive society. Managing inclusion at schools calls for a good teacher preparation, learners’ preparation., attitudinal change, environmental modification and support services from other qualified personnel to help children in schools.en_US
