Abstract
Automated Management System is a system in which management is done with computerized system. People are in position to interact with the system in computer to get information from high level in the Organization. Others having established a need to know they are provided with historical information, information on current status of the management system in use and projected information is appropriately summarized by, (Fitzgerald and Fitzgerald, 1987) [1]. Relating the applications of AMS techniques in the paper entitled Automated Management Systems in Support of planning in Africa has come up with the characteristics of Management and advance reasons why most countries in Africa and some countries of the developed world have gone far in implementing the concept beyond the computer for such routine applications such as Room allocation, Automated Bank Machine and Forex Bureau Machine. It emphasizes that there is a need for examination Time table centers concerned with the role of MS in the provision of accurate, timely and authentic data for decision making purposes, AMS in this case will be able to provide easy consistency of data in the faculty it will be beyond that as it will improve data storage facilities because of using data base server. Communication on computerizing management systems highlighted the benefits that computerization of management systems (MS) brings; Improved decision making through provision of relevant and timely information, Early warning of performance problems, Senior staff freed up to allow focuses of planning, Quick and easy access to information, Fewer paper records clogging in the office, (Hicks, 1998) [1 1]
