The study objectives related to identifying profile of respondents, the contribution of MNCs, degree of economic development, and establishing relationship between MNCs and economic development in Mogadishu-Somalia. The study found out that MNCs comply by the rules and regulations of the country, they buy productive assets in the country and they pay their employees relatively high. The study found out that the MNCs do not support research and innovation; they do not involve buying or renting housing facilities for their workers as well as not respecting Somalia culture. The study found out that a higher degree of economic development indicators of being highest tax payers and encouraging competition of different sectors in Mogadishu-Somalia. The study found out that a low level of economic development brought about by MNCs in Mogadishu, Somalia. The study recommends that the government in Somalia, the management of MNCs other stakeholder’s emphasis: Buying or investing in housing facilities by focusing of real estate’s investments and development in Mogadishu Somalia, and supporting local action research to develop relevant interventions that suit local context at macro and micro economic levels.
