    Managerial styles and labour turn over; Case Study Esco-Uganda Limited, Bundibugyo District Western Uganda.

    The study was set to conduct an inquiry on the managerial styles and labor turnover in ESCO Uganda limited Bundibugyo district. It was guided by the purpose of the study which was to establish the relationship between managertal styles and labor turnover in ESCO Uganda limited Bundibugyo distiict. The objectives of the study were; to establish the effects of the autocratic style on labor turnover in ESCO Uganda limited. The effects of democratic style on labor turn over in ESCO Uganda limited Bundibugyo district. The effects of free reign managerial style on labor turnover in ESCO Uganda limited. The research used both quantitative and qualitative research approaches . the study also employed a sample of 20 respondents who were selected using purposive sampling and data collection using both closed and open ended questionnaires. According to findings of the study, the managerial styles used in ESCO Uganda limited include autocratic style, democratic style, free reign and style. these styles have both positive and negative effects, positive ones are high commitment. high employee satisfaction, better ways of communication, low grievances, employee participation and involvement among others and the negative ones include; tight rules and regulations. tight supervision, established policies and procedures, less job security and many others.
