    The effect of TQM on Quality Improvement of Organisational Performance: A case study Of Kigali National Social Security Fund (NSSF).

    This study focused on the effect of TQM on quality improvement of organizational performance in Kigali City. The researcher used design because findings were not to be generalized to any other organization, and this design allows flexibility in respect of data collection method. The methods used to collect data by were Interview, Observation, Questionnaire and Documentation. Interview guide was the main method used to collect data from both staff and member of the NSSF. Total quality Management has been recognized and used during the last decades by organizations all over the world to develop a quality focus and improve organizational performance, In spite of this, TQM implementation is still problematic for many organizations. TQM has been recognized as a successful Management, TQM can be embraced in the organizations to help raise quality and productivity. Studies from companies showed how to benefit experience include reduction in quality cost, better employee, job satisfaction, improvement plans, specific incorporation in strategic planning and commitment by senior management and all employees. TQM performance measures should also reflected through to management commitment, customer involvement and satisfaction employee involvement and empowerment, customer - supplier relationships and powers improvement and management. There is a need for people who will champion the cause of improving the way business is done through effectively implementing TQM within a company. The researcher found that TQM is a combination of quality and management tools aimed at increasing business and reducing losses due to wasteful practices. TQM nowadays is more applicable in any organization by implementing TQM in the organization and examination of strategies used in the organizations in developing, maintaining and improving organizations performance as well as to examine the challenges faced when the implementation of TQM process in the organization
