    Information communication technology (ICT) and administration in primary schools in Kenyenya Division Kenyenya District Kenya

    The study was concerned with Use of Information communication Technology (ICT) in administration of Primary Schools in Kenyenya Division Kenyenya District kenya. The study was guided by 4-objectives; Determining the profile of the respondents, the level of Use of ICT, The level of management functions and the relationship between Use of ICT and Management functions of Primary school administrators in Kenyenya Division, Kenyenya District. The study applied a co relational survey design using quantitative approach to derive meaning from quantitative data generated. The main research instrument used to obtain data during the study was Likert scale questionnaire researcher made to suit the objectives of the study. Data collection was guided by the research questions and objectives. A total of 80 respondents were used. Results from the study and analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between use of ICT and management of primary schools. Revelations from the study further indicated that there is low level of knowledge and use of ICT among the primary school administrators. The study further recommended that the government should organize refresher courses on use of ICC for the current primary school administrators as it also makes ICT courses compulsory to teacher trainees.
