Design of a patient medication reminder curcuit using a micro Controller (Atmega328/P)
(Kampala International University, School of Engineering Science, 2016-09) Shukuru, Muhemer; Isaac; Oshme, Arthur
This project is focused on how patients, particularly the handicapped and the elderly do not follow instructions in taking medication. This can result in patient failing to take medication, taking the wrong medication, taking an incorrect amount of medication, or taking the medication at a wrong time, leading to either a drug overdose or an ineffective application of medication to the patient. The work is arranged mainly in five chapters, Chapter one includes the introduction of a system, Chapter two discusses all the literature related to the system, Chapter three illustrates the methodologies used in coming up with the working prototype of the system, includes system design and analysis, Chapter four contains the discussions and testing of the system and chapter five contain the summary of the work, conclusions and recommendations.

Design and construction of a door lock alert system using a microcontroller (atm ega382/ p)
(Kampala International University,School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, 2016-09) Rubangakene, Moses; Turinemigisha, Calorine
This project focused on how one can safely keep the house safely locked through minimizing the access to its door unit, monitoring whoever is trying to open the door and providing an alert to the security agencies in case he/she is proved an intruder by the system.
