Abstract: This study focused at designing and implementing a computerized payroll system, which will assist in carrying out payroll transactions. The computerized payroll system helps the payroll administrators to ensure an efficient and effective management of employee’s information since the system is systematic than using the manual system. It will improve the time efficiency and provide a user friendly environment. The system design used the three-tier client server architecture to implement the inference mechanism while database component was implemented using Mysql. The user interface was implemented using Visual Basic.
