Abstract
The research is about an assessment of health service delivery system on reducing infant mortality rate from 0-5 years in Kucwiny Health Centre III. The objective of the study was to examine the role of health service delivery system on reducing infant mortality rate from 0-5years. This would be important to determine whether the causes and what way forward the government is taking to reduce infant mortality rate from 0-5years. Health sector comprises of government agencies, NGOs, Private and Community providers and various partners. It exists to promote better health through monitoring and provision of preventive and curative health services. Its responsibility stretches not only to public provision of services but also to supervision of private sector which provides a very significant proportion of health care in Uganda. The study would base on the findings derived from primary sources like interview, observation, questionnaire methods shall be used and secondary sources like record books, web pages (Internet).
