Abstract
The study was undertaken to evaluate the factors affecting the performance of students in English language. The investigations will be focused on the students’ performance at Uganda National Examination Board.The outcome of the study will give an informed perspective to the education planners and academician in enhancing performance in English. The study will also create awareness among language teachers in creating an enabling environment for English learning.
